The flat opens onto the City and the most famous monuments of Florence; the Duomo with its Dome, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce and the Arno River seem to 'leap' into the house through its two windows.
It will be a unique pleasure to sit on the sofa and have Brunelleschi's Dome in front of your eyes, especially at sunset when the lights come on and the view enchants you, the illuminated monuments seem like "visions"

The space
It will be a unique pleasure to sit on the sofa and have Brunelleschi's Dome in front of your eyes, especially at sunset when the lights come on and the view enchants you, the illuminated monuments seem like 'visions'... after a day spent walking around Florence: and you will feel really privileged to be able to admire the Dome still between the pillows of your bed!
Entering you will find a bright living room, with a breathtaking view of Florence, with sofa, dinette, Smart Tv and Internet, kitchenette (fridge and two burners, and everything you need to prepare a romantic dinner) and then Nespresso, toaster, kettle, water purification jug so you don't have to carry heavy bottles of mineral water upstairs, as well as a washer-dryer, iron and ironing board..... Even if you arrive tired or late, as a welcome you will find what you need to prepare your breakfast the next day. The furnishings are in tones of white and grey, natural wood, and a touch of blue; the rooms are both air-conditioned, and there is also a ceiling fan in the room for those who do not like air-conditioning; the linen offers the best pure cotton for the sheets and Frette sponges for the bathroom. The flat is for two, maximum three people: the room gives the impression of being a huge cosy bed (a real king bed with high mattresses, very comfortable) with blackout curtains and windows fitted with mosquito nets.

Guest access
Like everything precious, you have to earn it, but the ascent (or descent) to get there will be immediately forgotten as soon as you enter this small building that welcomes visitors with an entrance furnished like a living room, with armchairs and furniture and a large plant of banana from which you go up to the first floor with a short flight of stairs (16 steps).
You will recognize the welcoming atmosphere of Frances' rooms, for those who already know her, the personal touch of taste and attention to detail that have always distinguished her and that makes the guest feel at home away from home from the very first entrance.
Other things to note
We tried, as we did before, to make guests find what we first appreciate finding when we travel, and for this you will find Max to welcome you, a member of the family not an employee of an agency, ready to give you all the information and suggestions about the city where he was born and where he lives.
We are in the most authentic heart of historic Florence, Costa san Giorgio, which rises from the Ponte Vecchio to the Porta San Giorgio, right next to the Forte Belvedere: this very ancient street access to the city consists of small houses, simple buildings but full of charm and history ... almost a sort of magical landscape, with buildings clinging to the hill, simple houses for the most part but also more important buildings and famous Villa: Villa Bardini and its charming garden are just a few houses higher up.
We are sure that the name we have chosen, Florence according to Frances, reflects the atmosphere that is perceived, a living Florence from the "inside" with an enchanted gaze on the monuments that seem almost to be "touched".
We are in an almost exclusively pedestrian street (only taxis and residents can access it) so if you have a car it is better to park it in a public parking lot on the outskirts and take a taxi: no vehicle is necessary for the best visit of the city and to get around on foot from here it is a pleasure… .we are in the center of the oldest heart of the city and no distance between our Suite and the main monuments exceeds 1 and a half mile (about 12/13 minutes on foot).
